Start your day with a good fight... against those feared free radicals that is! A healthy dose on antioxidants in the morning will go a long way in protecting your skin, cardiovascular system and health in general.
This was my little army this morning:
1/2 cup blueberries
1/2 pouch of açaí
About a cup almond milk
1 tbsp hydrolyzed collagen
A heaping tsp raw honey
A tip when adding honey to smoothies containing frozen fruit. I usually blend the smoothie with all ingredients then add the honey and blend again. I find that when the honey comes in contact with the frozen fruit it becomes almost rock hard and does not blend well.
