Nutritious ways to add sweetness:
Fully ripe mango
Freshly juiced apple

Natural and unprocessed sweeteners provide micronutrients that will feed your body and keep you satisfied for longer. One of my favourite ways to sweeten my smoothies is to use dates. I soak a pitted date overnight in a bit of water. The next morning I add the date with the soaking water to my smoothie. This makes the date soft enough to blend well with the other ingredients. Besides being loaded with micronutrients, specially minerals like iron, they also provide a healthy dose of fiber. Tasty goodness all around!
