Sunflowers and Nature Healing

Such soothing medicine after a long, stressful, and very busy week.
Being in nature reduces stress, anxiety, and fear. Because we are wired to find trees, plants, water - and vast sunflower fields - engrossing, we are absorbed by them and distracted from our pain and discomfort.
Time in nature also increases our ability to be present. Because we find nature inherently interesting we can naturally focus on what we are experiencing and take a break from our overactive minds.
According to studies, time spent in nature connects us to each other and the larger world bringing us stronger feelings of unity 💚
